I cannot recommend Saffron Indian Restaurant enough. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was superb. The onion bhajis were crispy and flavorful, and the lamb curry was simply divine. Each dish was served hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, perfect for both casual meals and special celebrations. The staff were knowledgeable, kind, and always smiling, which made the evening even more enjoyable. A five-star experience in every way.
I ordered a takeaway from Uber Eats. I was very impressed that the restaurant called to warn me of a long delivery time (as i am located a very long way from them). They the even beat their own delivery time. Tarka Daal is my favourite comfort food, I'm very fussy about it, but theirs was excellent! better than I've had in years.everything else was delicious and perfectly cooked even though it had travelled nearly 15 miles.
I have to say the curry was absolutely outstanding. The aroma alone set the stage for something special, and the first bite confirmed it.This curry was comforting, flavorful, and left me wanting more. Easily one of the best I’ve had, and I’d recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic, well-made food
A bunch of us were staying in a holiday home some miles away where food delivery options were somewhat non-existent. We weren't exactly hopeful that they would be able to take our order but when I spoke to them on the phone they bent over backwards to arrange the delivery for a specific time that evening. When the food arrived it was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.
After a long day of walking at the Yorkshire Dale, we were all tired and wanted something to eat. Found this restaurant after being recommended it by one of the locals. I have to say, I was not expecting to find such a hidden gem like this. The service at the door was great and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. They seated us promptly and Ali in particular treated us with great care. I had to say the Lamb Hasina was unreal and it really hit the spot. I will definitely be coming back here again. Thank you so much Saffron for such a great time! It has been a pleasure.
