Bikers avoid this garage in Leyburn North Yorkshire at all costs!! Stopped to fill up 2 bikes, bloke came out and said ‘I’ve had a biker drive off without paying and they owe me £8, and until it’s paid no more motorcyclists’. He told us we had to pay for said owed petrol before we could fill up, we told him why should we, it’s nowt to do with us, to which he replied you’re all motorcyclists. Gob smacked is an understatement!!! Needless to say we kindly declined to pay said debt and rode off 😡👊🏍

Absolutely appalling customer service. I visited this station this morning to fill up my car. I was using my wife’s car, as mine was in for an MOT, and mistakenly pulled up to the wrong side for the fuel cap. At most petrol stations, this is usually not an issue, as the hoses are designed to reach both sides. There was more than enough slack on the hose, so I proceeded to start filling. An attendant came out and, rather abruptly, told me I needed to move the car to the "correct" side. When I politely asked why — since this has never been an issue elsewhere — he simply replied, "Why was it not an issue for you to use the correct side?" I explained it was a simple mistake, as I was in a different car, and asked again what the problem was. His only response was, "Well, it's a problem for me." At that point, I said I’d rather take my business elsewhere, to which he replied, "You do that, and don’t bother coming back." Having since read other reviews, it seems this kind of rude and unprofessional attitude is not an isolated incident at this location. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Walked in to try a buy some fire lighters, guy behind the counter was rude as they come! Told me to not touch the wood section to which I replied that there was no sign stating not to touch the firelighters area.( I’ve bought firelighters from this place multiply times and never was a problem) He proceeded to make a sarcastic comment that he’ll go open my car door since there is no sign on it. To which I confronted him about the comment. He walked out towards me saying he refuses me service! This guy is a joke and a rude one to that. Avoid at any cost!

Absolutely amazing customer service! Thank you so so much to the guy serving tonight who not only helped me choose the correct oil for my very oil’less car but then put the oil in for me! I really appreciated his kindness and help.

Went to fule my bike yesterday tea time this bloke wouldn't let me have any fule because some biker drove off without paying, he said if I want fule I had to pay for the biker who didn't pay which has absolutely nothing to do with me!!! Apparently we bikers are all the same... would not go here if you have a bike as you won't be allowed to fule up such a horrible man!!!
