Popped into this bakery in Market place, Leyburn, North Yorkshire, and bought a pack of 2 paradise tarts for £3.95. I thought it was quite pricy, but the taste said different . Plenty of parking , but gets full quickly, donation in bucket. Went back to Andys shop 13/08/25 & got a cheese pasty. The best cheese pasty. Full of cheese & strong cheeder cheese.

Was served by the tall great haired lady - not sure she’s ever been happy tbh. Asked for a ham salad roll - received the scraps of lettuce left in the container, asked if there was anymore lettuce, she said there is but none prepared- how long does it take to prepare lettuce!?? Received half a piece of cucumber and a jalapeño, yes only one. As I was leaving a new bowl of lettuce arrived at the counter Some great customer service There are numerous other places serving good sandwiches, will go elsewhere from now on.

My husband and I visited Andy's while on holiday and we weren't disappointed with the cakes we selected but the pies were underwhelming. Unfortunately we just felt rushed and ignored when a regular customer came in and as we left I said thank you and got no reply. We could have bought from the Co-op across the road but we like to support independent shops??

A splendid array of pies and pasties. Backed up with a similar display of home made cakes. The pie I bought was extremely tasty. Freshly made pies, you just can't beat them. Will call in again next time we visit Leyburn.

Lovely little bakery to pick up some snacks before a walk. We recommend the pork pies! Cherry tart was great too. Reasonable prices
