A great little find for some Lego for my autistic 13 year old! Plenty to choose from. We also asked for UNO, they didn’t have it but the staff were really helpful and helped us look and did check in storage too, unfortunate but the service was fantastic! Left with some Lego and some modelling clay which my son loved. Great service and great shop for homely gifts and toys for the kids of all ages.

Good shop for kids' toys but barely any oxygen on the upper floors, so had to rush out of the shop to have some fresh air. There are lots of interesting and pretty things for home at the ground floor.

Whether you are starting a home or replacing items from your home. H&H offers a vast array of household items at a range of prices from the discerning, to the bargain hunters. The store holds everything for your household needs. The garden is equally spoiled with an equally vast stock available. Set over two floors, if you can't find what you're looking for, ask. The friendly staff are always willing to help. As is now the norm, Covid regulations are adhered to.

It's good in a kind of jumble sale way. You can buy kitchen ware that you can't buy anywhere else. We had comments about our daughter's mucky boots made loudly around the store, but not directly to us. I would think about 50% of the passing trade would have mucky boots, so my advice to Wray's would be to consider your market.

Very disappointing. Our previous experiences have been positive but on this occasion, due to the attitude of one member of staff, we left feeling pretty upset. We travelled especially from Hawes as we thought House and Home would have a garden kneeler. They did, high up on a shelf. On the front of the shelf there was a price of £19.99 and next to it a sticker said £16.99. So we picked one up and headed for the till. Of course that came up at £19.99. We challenged this saying the shelf sticked showed a reduction and my wife was asked 'show me'. Attitude straight away made us uneasy. My wife showed her and her response was that it referred to another kneeler. No reference on the ticket. Can we look at that one then, clearly annoyed the assistant called across to another employee for help and they had to get a pair of steps to find the alternative kneeler above and behind the first and handed it down. This was marked at £18.99. So the one with no ticket was £19.99 and the one marked at £18.99 was £16.99. Confused? We were. My wife tried to add some humour as she walked back to the till about the confusing prices but was just ignored. We tried to engage again at the till but she eas having none of it. We were supposed to know the differences in pricing. Do you know what, we cant be doing with this. Clearly trying to help local businesses is not appreciated. We left without a purchase, not due to the confusing pricing but her attitude. My wife was left very upset. Such a shame. It will take a lot for us the return.
