I recently enjoyed a lovely stay that really got me into the festive spirit! The place was beautifully decorated, and my room was spacious and spotless. The service was great, pleasant helpful staff and a smooth check-in process. Great location and easy parking. Great to be so dog friendly, thats why I choose The Inn Collection Group of hotels. I will certainly visit again in the future.

We didn't stay but had dinner on a Sunday evening. I expected it to be reasonably busy, but it was quiet, with only a few people in the dining area. Ordering is relatively easy; walk to the bar, place order and pay. A bit odd, given this is a "restaurant" in a hotel, but I guess this is a sign of the times. We ordered the ham hock, a steak pie, and a couple of festive burgers, along with drinks. Then we waited. The drinks were quick, because we got them at the bar.. and (to be fair) the beer was good. I'm not sure quite how long we waited, but it was much longer than was feasible, given the number of diners (us and maybe another table who'd pretty much finished). When the food finally arrived, the burgers were cold, the veg with the pie was limp and watery, and the pie was dry. On the plus side, the ham hock was warmer and tasty. When we raised the issue with the team, the burgers were replaced reasonably quickly with fresh, hot food. It seems they'd had a busy week beforehand, so were flagging a bit.... Also to be fair, they threw the dessert in too, by way of apology, and they didn't need to, but all I can suppose is that there weren't many front of house staff, and the kitchen is quite a walk from the dining area, so maybe food had been sat for a while. While the team were very pleasant, and we were made very welcome, I felt that they were a bit tired and lacking any motivation. Given the cost of the meal, the lack of variety on the menu and the standard of service, I felt that the overall experience didn't live up to expectations.

I recently stayed overnight and had a fantastic experience. The steak I had for dinner was cooked to perfection, making it a lovely meal. The team made everything so easy with a smooth check-in process and a warm welcome, plus they checked in to see if I was enjoying my meal. The room was spotless, and I felt right at home. I definitely look forward to returning!

For the price I expected better. I picked this hotel based on the reviews and the parking. When I arrived the carpark was full. I drive a van and the spaces are super small. I couldn’t have fitted anyway so I had to find alternative parking. I get that it’s not guaranteed but it was very annoying after a long drive. The rooms were ok. Beds were large and comfy. The sockets have usb connectors which is a nice touch. The room was clean. I feel that no one’s actually thought about what a guest would like. It’s got an ironing board but no fridge? Where I feel it was let down was the bathroom smelt of sewers despite the extractor fan. There was no bottled water in the room so I was left with tea or coffee at night. I tried the water out of the tap and it was vile. There is no fridge which may seem like a small thing but I’d been to a Christmas market and bought cheese that I couldn’t keep cool. Although the room was clean, the main room light had dead flies in it. Finally the road noise in my room was pretty loud. I had cars accelerating past my window all night. Overall, it felt like a premier inn that was twice the price.

Well situated hotel in Ripon with plenty of space to park. The family room was plentiful with coffee/tea making facilities, large TC, Large comfortable bed, a table and sofa. Bathroom was large with lovely fresh towels, a shower and a bath. The food was absolutely beautiful. I stayed in 5 hotels of the same cost per night, and this was by far the best! I'll definitely be going back!
