St Mary's Church, Lockington

My Daughter's choir sang in this church. There was also a group flutists. Although they were school age they were brilliant.

Beautiful , little but well loved church with some excellent heraldry inside .

A very interesting church which seemed large for quite a small and attractive village. The church had been enlaged over the years and its fascinating to look an ancient building that had gone through so many changes. A translation of the Latin story relating to an extra special tomb would have heighten our visit. I will definitely return soon to spend more time.

Visited here with my sister trying to find my Grandad. No luck, if anybody knows how to contact somebody about finding a relative buried here, I'd appreciate the information. Thanks
