Visited Beacon Farm today for their pumpkin patch and had a fantastic time! The setup is brilliant, you grab a wheelbarrow and stroll through the patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Everything was really well organized and reasonably priced. After pumpkin picking, we enjoyed a much-needed break with tea, cake, and ice cream, all delicious! A lovely experience from start to finish. Highly recommend for a fun autumn outing!
The absolute best camp site. Toilets, showers, fresh drinking water, pot wash all outstanding. The location can’t get better with a view of the sea and the Abbey. The play park is fantastic, as is the walk down to see the highland cows, bird hide and woodland nature trail. The cafe and ice cream also amazing! We’ll definitely be back next year!
A fantastic camping experience for the full family. Play area close to tents to allow kids some freedom. Toilet and shower blocks pristine and being cleaned all the time. On site ice cream especially enjoyed by the children. Thanks for such a fab time.
Absolutely outstanding campsite. Friendly and easy going service. Great play area for the kids. Lovely views out to Whitby. Since we last came they have installed brand new excellent toilets and showers which were, frankly, better than my shower at home. The cafe (and, of course, the ice cream) is one of the best I've been to anywhere. So much so, I am regretting coming home. Sorely tempted to leave a terrible review so it can put others off and we could have it to ourselves. But, to be fair, they deserve every bit of popularity. Will be coming again (if they're not booked out!).
Lovely little campsite, we’ve always visited for ice cream and a play on the park with my three boys, however we decided to camp for a few days and have ice cream!!🍦. We were not disappointed, from start to finish everyone was lovely. The showers and toilets were very clean and tidy. My boys enjoyed the play park and the little woodland trail, but most of all the ice cream. We were out most of one of the days at flamingo land, as we were only 40 minutes drive we decided to go, we also went into Whitby for tea. You are quite close to lots of lovely places. We will definitely book again.
