Grange Farm Holiday Cottage

We stayed at Grange Farm with a group of friends while walking the last part of the Coast to Coast Path. The house is perfectly situated for this as it is on the route, and a spectacular 5 mile walk takes one to the end of the path at Robin Hood’s Bay. After a celebratory drink in Wainwright’s Bar and a look around the village it is easy to take a bus back to High Hawsker for a well deserved rest. The house is very comfortable with an extremely well equipped kitchen, a large dining table and plenty of spaces for relaxation. It is spotlessly clean and everything has been thought of. The owner Denise was exceptionally helpful over our arrangements for parking, access and recommending a friendly local taxi. Our group loved it! Thank you so much for an excellent stay.

Just come home from a few days at a beautiful, very spacious, well equipped, cozy cottage. Everything you need for a great family getaway. Cottage was spotless and tastefully decorated. Our family of 10 consisted of 4 children that absolutely loved the space, playroom and garden. Denise and John are very hospitable, they couldn’t do enough for us. Thank you 🤩.

We spent a lovely few days at Grange Farm holiday cottage. The house is lovely and cosy, yet there was plenty of room for all 14 of us. The well stocked kitchen had everything we needed and we could all fit comfortably round the dining table. It is a great location for visiting Whitby or Robins Hood Bay and there is a lovely pub just 5 minutes walk up the road. Communication with the owner was really easy and we had no problems at all. A great place for a group of families/friends.

Real English hospitality with a touch of European class. This is a beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and very well appointed sprawling country home in the quiet village of Hawsker set in the breathtakingly beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. The owners have seamlessly blended timeless history with contemporary mod cons and have provided elite quality appliances, smart heating and cooling, strong wifi, a large pleasant outdoor space and ample parking for numerous vehicles. Tastefully decorated, with delicious quality bedding and excellent furniture throughout, it is plainly evident to see how much the owners care for this property and their guests. The kitchen is well stocked and carefully planned, making cooking for large families a real pleasure. Serving a large family is a real delight as there is plenty sitting room around the massive dining room table, with a great view through to the conservatory and kids play room behind. Another huge relaxation room with many couches is tucked away off the dining room and a lounge with a seating area and large television is on the other side of the house. The cupboards are well stocked with games, toys and books to suit every age and interest and will instantly make all guests feel at home. This is truly a home away from home in every sense and the warmth and dedication of the owners only enhance the holidaying experience. We spent an amazing 7 nights here and every one of our seven children said they would definitely come again.

We have just spent an absolutely fabulous Christmas at Grange Farm. The location has spectacular views across the Yorkshire Moors and Robin Hoods Bay. The accommodation is very spacious and easily suited the twelve people in the party. There are a number of large groundfloor rooms with log burner which provide relaxing and comfortable spaces, plus a large dinning room and kitchen which were excellent for an Xmas meal for 18 guests. The bedrooms are roomy and the top room with king-size bed and en-suite was ideal again with spectacular views of the surroundings and night skies. The farm is situated in an area which provides easy access for Robins Hoods Bay and Whitby but is far enough away to also provide peace and tranquillity for a relaxing holiday.
