Poverty cottage CL

Wonderful CL campsite. Amazing views, short walk to Whitby with our dog and via Whitby brewery! We also walked to Robins Hood Bay via the cinderway. If we’d known how beautiful it was we would have planned to stay longer. Jo the owner is just lovely.

A brilliant caravan and motorhome site over looking stunning views of Whitby and the Abbey. Next to the Abbey is the marvellous Whitby Brewery selling their own beer and pizzas. Thoroughly recommend if you can get on.

Caravan and motor home club certified location, members only. 4 pitches, 2 hardstanding and 2 grass on fairly level ground. Electric hook up on each. Open views over the Esk valley and Whitby. Owners are friendly and accommodating.

The reviews don't lie this place is superb! Jo the owner was both communicative and friendly in all our dealing. The location is idyllic with views of Whitby Abbey and only about a 40min walk in. It's also only a short walk to Whitby Brewery which offers tours and home made pizza. My only complaint was we weren't able to bolt an extra couple of days onto our stay, such is the well deserved popularity of this place!!!! We shall return thank you ever so much for a great stay.
