Welcome to Yorkshire

|The dramatic spirit of Wuthering Heights returns this Valentine’s season with Emerald Fennell’s bold new adaptation, starring Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, hitting UK cinemas on 13 February 2026. What makes this version especially resonant for lovers of landscape and literature alike is its deep connection to Yorkshire’s wild terrain — the very land that inspired Emily Brontë’s timeless novel.
Filming for the production took place across the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with breath-taking sequences shot in Swaledale, Arkengarthdale and around the village of Low Row. These rugged valleys and windswept moorlands, echoing the stark beauty of Brontë’s original setting, provide the emotional backdrop to the passionate and tumultuous tale of Cathy and Heathcliff at the heart of the story.

The iconic Brontë Country — including Haworth and the surrounding heather-covered moors — remains the spiritual home of Wuthering Heights. Visitors can now explore the same dramatic landscapes that shaped Emily Brontë’s imagination and see for themselves why Yorkshire’s open skies and wild horizons have captured the world’s imagination for generations.
Whether you’re planning a literary pilgrimage or simply seeking stunning scenery, Yorkshire’s moors invite you to walk in the footsteps of one of literature’s greatest love stories this spring.
