When we came into the pub was a lovely warm welcome 😁 couldn't fault the staff so friendly and happy faces . The pub it self is very clean and cosy. The food was delicious 😋 couldn't fault it . I'm definitely going to come back here again.
This is a lovely friendly and homely pub. It's mine and Shauns 2nd time in here. Last night it was drinks , tonight we have had our tea here. What a lovely, lovely lady Joanne is. The barmaid who served us was very friendly too. We will both be back very soon
We are new to the area and we're so happy now that we found this gem! They have a great menu choices and food was amazing. Friendly welcoming staff, atmosphere was lovely and Marilyn made us feel at home. Would definitely recommend.
We had the world's best burgers here. So yummy 😋 😍 . Been to other pubs when we are out of Maltby, but they do not compare to the burgers here! I had Crispy Korean chicken burger and bestie had signature beef burger (it comes with 2 burgers and chilli con carne). Manager is friendly and attentive. Prices are good for drinks. Burgers are 2-4-1 on Tuesdays. The Haynook also does a wide range of entertainment with singers and meals as booked events at the weekend. We look forward to Burger and Chips on a Tuesday!
Fantastic local family pub. Service and food is always great. However the real stand out feature of the place is the atmosphere generated by the managers Lee and Joanne. They have a super team of staff who are always bright, cheerful and helpful. We have used the pub for a formal family function and just to pop in for a drink and have never been disappointed. My dad is currently suffering with Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s and is wheelchair bound. Lee and Joanne always make us feel welcome and make a real fuss of my dad. Other than his bungalow the Hay Nook is his favourite place to be.
