Found this little gem of a place en route to York. Just off junction 1 of the M18. Very quaint and extremely friendly, both staff and customers. Made to feel very welcome. A delicious coffee, mug of tea and a cream and jam scone. Will make a point of stopping off here again whenever we’re this way.

An amazing place. The customers were all very friendly and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The coffee is first rate, my toasted tea cake was excellent and they had some lovely gluten free fruit loaf. The decor alone is worth a visit and the prices are cheap compared to the well know chain coffee shops.

Nestled in the heart of Maltby, The Vintage Booth is more than just a cafe – it’s a soulful haven, an unassuming sanctuary where time slows, and the world feels a little kinder. Claire and Pat, the delightful owners, create an atmosphere so warm, it feels like stepping into a comforting embrace. Their genuine, open-hearted nature invites you not just to enjoy a cup of coffee, but to engage in conversations that linger long after you've left. What makes The Vintage Booth truly exceptional is the way Claire and Pat seamlessly blend their rich, inspirational wisdom into the very fabric of the cafe. With a kind smile, they’ll share life advice that feels like a secret whispered from someone who’s lived fully and truly. Whether you're in need of a deep chat or just someone to listen, they are there, offering their ear with the kind of attentive care that’s rare in today’s fast-paced world. It's a place where the worries of the day seem to melt away, and where you are always met with understanding and kindness. The cafe itself is a cozy, inviting gem, adorned with vintage charm that feels like stepping into a storybook. There’s something magical about the way the sunlight pours through the windows, casting a soft glow over the rustic décor and hand-picked trinkets. It’s impossible not to feel a sense of belonging as you sip on your perfectly brewed coffee or nibble on one of their delicious homemade treats. But what truly sets The Vintage Booth apart is how it has become the soul of Maltby – the beating heart of the town. People from all walks of life are drawn here, not just for the delicious food or rich coffee, but for the sense of community, connection, and warmth that radiates from every corner. It’s a place where strangers become friends, and where the world feels just a little bit smaller, more intimate, and more loving. In every cup of coffee and every conversation, Claire and Pat remind us that The Vintage Booth is not just a cafe – it’s a celebration of life, love, and the simple joys that make it all worthwhile. If you haven’t experienced it yet, you owe it to yourself to stop by. You’ll find more than a cafe – you’ll find a little piece of home.
