Manor Field Surgery

Brilliant doctors surgery with very helpful reception staff. My 89yr old mum has been a patient forever and the care and treatment she has received has always been exceptional. I can’t fault the reception staff as they always try to help above and beyond - great doctors practice!

I don't understand why this GP insists on doing things their own way which ends up causing more problems for the people that use their service. You put in you can't travel too far and they book you an appointment 40 minutes away with a different GP.....if I wanted a different GP I would have signed up there instead. The receptionists are rude and condescending. I just feel like I am talking to a brick wall with this place 90% of the time.

Most of the GPs don't listen to patients, read the notes or care, they just want them out of the door as soon as possible. The new anima system gives them even more opportunity to fob off patients and prevent them from accessing needed medical care. 13/3/2024 21:19 - after being fobbed off by the GP and being told this morning I don't need to be seen for 2 weeks. I have now been admitted to the cardio ward in the hospital.

What a breath of fresh air this surgery is! I’ve been with a Wickersley surgery all my life and through no fault of my own I was taken off of the patients list…not their fault either apparently! The receptionists at manor field have been so kind and so helpful from the word go. Called at 8am as instructed to the day before and got straight through, didn’t have to hold. By 8:08am Dr Hussain had called. She was absolutely lovely, she listened to me while I explained everything and I’m picking up my prescription this afternoon. Cannot believe how easy it has been. A massive difference to my old drs. I only wished I’d moved sooner. If it was my old doctors I’d have still been on the phone now 6 hours later! Thank you.

The surgery used to have a system where you could book an appointment online, pick your time and GP, just scroll through the available options and pick your time and GP, and that was brilliant, now they have introduced anima to reduce the amount of appointments, (and it's working) tried to book an appointment with it today and after 20 mins of what seemed ridiculous questions I gave up, I'll be phoning up tomorrow, everything about the surgery has gone downhill since Dr Kapur retired.
