Not a great company. Storage itself seems ok but read the t&C's extremely carefully. It says you need to give 28 days notice but they want 28 days notice from the next day you are due to pay so you could essentially end up paying for nearly 2 extra months once you are ready to leave. This is ridiculous as they only had one available when we wanted one so there could have been loads sat empty waiting for their notice to end whilst this company were turning away new customers... Oh and don't actually empty it once you leave before your notice is up as they're t&C's say they can have it back off you within a week if you do with no refunds - a cheeky way to get it back out there making more money for them whilst you're still paying for it! They insist on you paying by bank transfer so you can't pay by credit card etc and they never mention your deposit at the end so when you ask they tell you you have to go over to get your deposit back in person at a time that suits them (in the form of a cheque) With no please or thank you which is just being deliberately awkward in an attempt to keep your deposit hoping you can't make it or you'll forget - not very customer orientated! Not the most polite either. I told them I couldn't make it so they offered me the option of posting it to me and it arrived a week later 2nd class so I'd do that if I were you. They have no issue immediately contacting you to remind you to pay so there's no excuse for not arranging the return of the deposit. It was also the most expensive I came across locally so I'd be tempted to go elsewhere if I were you. Our other storage arrangement were happy for us to just not pay the next month and we didn't need to give any notice - ANVSJ are just being awkward and their t&C's are out to mislead and screw people over to their advantage. I pointed out the discrepancies in their contract but they still insisted I pay - if I had stood my ground no doubt they'd have just kept my deposit instead and claimed the unit back as suggested by their contract. On a separate note, if you use this type of storage, don't put anything that melts in there - the feet off our games consoles melted off as well as candles being destroyed including anything surrounding them. Also don't put anything absorbent in there - we had some dried foods and things like salt absorbed liquid so it must get pretty humid. Not a big deal but something we learnt for future.

Since price went up to £120 pm not as good value as it was. Site very dusty with HGV’s continually speeding up and down the site throughout the day - don’t leave car/van / container doors open
