Great pub stop. On arriving greated by landlord. There are 3 designated parking spaces. Ehu if needed. We didnt use. Good size. Probably get an 8m van in. Food very tasty. Desserts to die for. Good drinks. Very reasonable price. On main road and next to a public carpark, but quiet overnight. Just outside town so a 15min walk into Malton to visit the quaint shops. Lovely area for walks. Definitely reccomend.

Another year and Simon still in charge.. Always a pleasure to work with great landlords I very rarely use the word pristine but this place was above and beyond... Came here to complete some work today.. high standards throughout are clear to see. The Derwent Arms is a jewel in the punch tavern crown and has to be seen to be fully appreciated... On Google there are more than one Dewent arms so not too be confused this is the one in YO17 postcode. Site offers the complete guest experience, live sports, pool, food and drink in very beautiful surroundings. Large FREE carpark but you must put your Registration in on the machine Thank you again Simon for looking after me during today's visit πŸ‘

Just Had Christmas day lunch here today, I've been to quite a few Christmas day lunches out in last few years and many have been an absolute let down (1 even took 5hrs to deliver 3 course) so to say I was yet again a little apprehensive was an understatement. However I cannot Fault today at all. Greeted with a smile and as soon as we were seated and could see the that service was managed with regimentsl smoothness. I felt very relaxed and confident this was not going to be like the others. Everything was perfect food was great and plentiful each course came out hot and cooked a great standard to say we left feeling very full and at ease. Sorry to hear the landords are leaving who ever tskes over have s lot to live upto.. But all in all this madr our Christmas days one of the most relaxed ever. Thank you to all at the Derwent for making my Christmas day so relaxed. Great place great atmosphere and perfectly coordinated service.

The Derwent Arms is a large traditional pub. There is a good range of beers, lager and cider, including hand pulled cask conditioned real ales which were in excellent condition when i visited. There is a pool table, dart boards, and an outside seating area. There is a car park, but make sure you enter your registration number on a terminal in the bar, or you will receive a large fine.

I visited the Derwent arms yesterday for lunch with my husband and mother. I had the mixed grill, my husband had the garlic and stilton burger and my mother had the gammon all of which was really good. The pub is dog friendly which is a welcomed amenity. The car park has plenty of space for patrons which is also appreciated. The food is excellent and offers great value for money. The desserts were also excellent. We had ice cream Sundays and I had the cookie dough which was divine and I would actually call in for just this and a drink it was so good. Collectively our bill was about Β£70 and that was for 3 main courses, 3 desserts and 6 drinks. I shall most definitely be returning to the Derwent in the near future.
