The Spotted Cow is a traditional unspoilt three roomed pub. There is a blue plaque outside the pub listing it as a Tetley heritage pub. There is a good choice of draught drinks including two hand pulled cask conditioned real ales, which were in excellent condition when I visited. There is a nice cosy front bar and another room to the side of it. Up some steps, there is a middle room with a bar and a dart board. Behind the pub there is a nice outside seating area. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It's a nice pub worth visiting.
Had a day in malton north yorkshire. Called in for a pint . Good beers . Friendly staff.

This is a lovely pub with good tunes and great atmosphere. I am with my family and and had a few drinks, went to bar for our last drink/top up and got them for free. Wow! This is the only pub in Malton where I’ve had free drinks on quite a few occasions. I love this pub and will be here on every occasion that I venture out. Thank you to you all xxx
Proper old Yorkshire pub,, great young landlord, very helpful and a pleasure to chat to, A good pint of Guiness although they serve Timmy Taylor's as well, On the cattle market and worth a drop in
