We’ve had Roost coffee from other tearooms/coffee shops etc, but it was really nice to see where it is actually roasted! The coffee was delicious in depth and flavour! It’s dog friendly and we got a treat for our pooch!!

Lovely little tearoom with good quality coffee for a good price. Beautiful location. However, only had limited seating.

I first came here in February 2024, this review is for the second time I've come here which was in September 2025. Difference between the two is the coffee roasteries no longer at this establishment it has now moved to an industrial estate outside the town due to the growth of the business. I also came here to buy some coffee beans very reasonably priced one particular coffee bean is quite rare as it's from the country of Yemen. Also had coffee and cake in here which was excellent. My parents and a relative of mine also liked it too.

First had this coffee in a local independent coffee shop and loved it. I now buy 1kg bags of beans direct for De’longhi coffee machine as it’s cheaper, but occasionally I have to grab a 250g bag from the independent coffee shop when I’ve been slack and forgot to order direct. The coffee is consistently lovely and Tony is a gent. I’ve tried cheaper supermarket coffee beans, but the roast date is much later and I struggle to pull a consistent shot with it unlike the espresso from Roost.

A wonderful place to grab a coffee in Malton, hidden in Talbot Yard! There are great and comfy seating choices, both indoor and outdoor and you can bring your dog (or have the opportunity to pet others!). There are some fabulous beverages on offer, and if you dig the coffee you can take home some coffee with you in whatever type you need for the coffee maker you have at home! We come here every weekend to chill and enjoy a coffee and read a book. The staff are super friendly and make great coffee, so if you’re a local to Malton or just here for a flying visit do make sure to come visit here ☺️ They also have a small selection of sweet stuff too! 🥳
