Our Customer Service Team attended our Christmas meal on Wednesday 17th December. From the initial correspondence nothing was too much trouble. Gemma advised us they normally don't open on a Wednesday evening but they opened up especially for us. One of our party is a vegan, and they catered for his requirements without any issues. Everyone's meal was excellent value for money. The presentation was amazing and ingredients were of a high standard. Service was outstanding and we would have no hesitation in recommending the New Derwent. Thank you
What a beautiful little bistro in Malton, I visited on a busy Sunday morning for breakfast. The place was pretty full but I managed to get a table. I ordered their full English which was delicious. Not many places serve fried bread these days but it was the best I've had I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family
Dropped in on spec whilst having a look around Malton on a very warm and sunny bank holiday Monday. Appeared to be one of, if not the only eating establishment open. Virtually every seat inside was spoken for. However, we were lucky enough to get one of the two tables situated on the bistro front. Just wanted a light lunchtime bite. Opted for the savoury cheese in a baguette. Came with french fries and a small side salad. My wife had cheese and ham melt on ciabatta with chips, also with a small side salad. Took about 30 minutes to arrive. Just sat sipping a diet coke ws5ching the world go by. More than enough on our plates for a lunchtime snack. The chips were really chunky and fried well. The savoury cheese filling was over flowing from the baguette when closed up. Cakes and desserts were available but limited. It had been a busy day.
Came with a baby on a quiet Monday lunchtime when everywhere else was closed and loved it. Don’t tell the baby’s parents but the beer and wine were great! The staff brought an extra plate so that sharing a meal was easy and we both enjoyed an ample portion for two oldies. Would come again.
Went for lunch today with my Husband and just want to say how lovely this place is, the food was absolutely gorgeous so tasty and large portions. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.
