Great customer service by Chris during the whole buying process. Long and detailed handover which was needed as this is my first Volvo. I highly recommend this main dealer if you are considering this marque.

After driving past Ray Chapman's at Malton many times (and being aware of the plaudits they have received for their service), I thought I would give them a try to investigate my first potential Volvo purchase. From start to finish, (yes I bought the car), I found all of the staff to be highly personable, and genuinely invested in attending to any customer requests and needs, no matter how diverse or trivial. So very refreshing. In particular Jason Pridden and his manager Giles Etherington felt just like trustworthy old friends and not at all like the usual salesman/manager tag team that a potential purchaser has to do battle with at other establishments. I felt comfortable with the whole purchasing process and at no time felt pressured or isolated. Well done Ray Chapman Malton! The staff at Ray Chapman Volvo Malton surpassed the high level of customer service I’ve experienced in any dealer I’ve ever dealt with in the past. On Saturday we came from Scotland to Sandsend, Whitby for our holiday break, sadly on arriving at our cottage an amber engine light came on. So we realistically couldn’t use the car until it was checked. Volvo Malton was called first thing Monday for advice, and to see if the warranty company allowed it, could they book our car in for a check and repair. They managed to get the car in first thing Tuesday morning for a diagnostic check, they also gave the car a health check, and a sensor needed replaced. I gave authority, the warranty finally (thanks to the service departments assistance) gave the go ahead to repair the car. The car was ready for mid afternoon. Where the staff surpassed other dealers, they knew we were on holiday and didn’t know the area, they very kindly gave us a car to get around to go for lunch while they repaired our car which was very much appreciated otherwise it would have been a long wait in their very smart showroom. I can’t praise or recommend Volvo Malton enough.

We received an amazingly professional and personal level of service from Jason at Volvo in Malton. From the moment we arrived for our first enquiry about the Volvo nothing was too much trouble. All our questions were answered. The test drive gave us a real understanding of how the car worked and why it was the right car for us. We were kept informed of the process for delivery and exactly when we should expect the car, and then it came early which was great. Beyond how incredible Jason was, the staff in general were all thoroughly decent. Personable and friendly and they really seemed to want to make our experience a good one. Would highly recommend for the level of service, the personable and professional staff, and of course for the quality of the car.
