If you don't want to tell the receptionist the reason for booking your appointment, they only let you book a telephone appointment. I have problems with phone signal at home and have missed calls previously, so prefer to go in person. The receptionist made me feel like I was being difficult for not wanting to disclose. Apparently this has always been the practice's policy, but a few months ago I was able to book an in-person appointment without disclosing the reason. Apart from this, on the whole I have found the receptionists and doctors to be helpful and take me seriously. P.S. It's option 3 to skip the waffle over the phone and join the queue for a doctor's appointment!

My daughter (10) was in yesterday and the Dr and nursing team dealt with her so wonderfully. Caring considerate and very personable I thank them all for making her visit the best ever ! ( her words ) thanks team

I had a physio appointment this morning - I couldn’t have asked for a better experience with them, and then signposted by helpful reception team to malton hospital for drop in bloods, where there was no wait, and timely follow up booked with the physio. Thank you all 👍

What a wonderful helpful surgery! I have experienced many General Practices in the UK, and this surgery is right up there with the very best. I helped a relative register as a new patient in difficult circumstances- the reception team couldn't possibly have been more helpful and obliging. Thanks+++

Useless surgery, waited 4 weeks for an androlgy appointment, collected my sample pot. Got to the hospital and wrong specimen pot. Prior to this booked a phone appointment and no call, blamed it on an incorrect number but managed to send me a pre appointment message? I will swap to a more competent surgery.
