No issues finding the charger or car park. Connectivity is not great as the touchscreen doesn’t work so the BP pulse app is needed to start charging. Conflicting information provided re excess charges as the App says excess charges after 90 minutes but the car park sign says parking at the charger is restricted to 60 minutes, although the car park is available for short and long stay parking. Confusing.
The unit is placed well in the carpark and easy to find, have used this charger many times and is one of three units in the local area, water lane carpark, St Nicolas Street Carpark and BP Garage has an Ultra charging station on Welham Rd. You must remember to pay for parking, it’s a short walk to the town centre so worth using for shopping.
It all works fine but the pricing is obscene. It’s more expensive to charge in public than use a petrol car. The wholesale cost of electricity has come down, so why hasn’t your pricing?
Nothing wrong with charger (though not the quickest) but pointless having 2 parking spaces with capability to charge one vehicle. Can mean a long wait if someone just beats you to it
