When my bike broke down (24/07/25) due to not charging the battery, Mennell Motors provided prompt roadside assistance with H who phoned round trying to get the needed part. They recovered the vehicle to their yard nearby, liaised with my insurance broker, and then transported us and bike to the ferry in Scotland to get to N Ireland the same day. Fiona phoned us the following morning to ensure we received assistance in N Ireland to get home. An exceptional experience, and much appreciated. Highly recommended.

After a wonderful visit to Rievaulx Abbey, we became stranded there after realising we had punctured the wall of our front passenger tyre. After contacting insurance company a lovely gentleman from Mennell Motors came to our rescue. We came to find his name was John. Now Johns job, was to return us to the hotel we where staying at, on discovering we where from Birmingham, he wasnt happy to leave us stranded at the hotel. After discussion, John said he would drop us at the hotel and take our car to his garage to have the tyre replaced and for the price of a taxi ride, he would drop the car to us the following day, true to his word the car was returned with a new tyre, wheel balance and with a warm welcome, like an old friend, Lawson and I (Kathleen) cant thank him enough, a true Yorkshire gentleman, if you happen to become stranded please give John a call, you want to be disappointed both in his humour and his genuine desire to help. Broke down yesterday and J attended quickly and identified the issue straight away on my ageing VW campervan. If the part had been available it would have been fixed there and then. Unfortunately I had to be trailered home and expertly reversed down a tight road after passing the time chatting in the way back. A real gentleman and genuine expert. I got the part delivered as advised and back up and running. Many thanks for an excellent service

On holiday in area and engine management light came on. Called these guys who booked me in quickly found the fault. Great service and reasonable price too Thankyou guys for your great service
