Avoid like the plague. bought curtains here that looked brilliant and was planning on unpicking sewing to a dress and these were about 20? Takes me around a month or more to start unpicking them and what do I find..... riddled with bedbugs (they were kept in a black bin bag)! Absolutely loads. So we have to burn them 😒 go back there and explain to them this. I didn't want a refund was just wanting them to check curtains before selling. Nope didn't listen just kept saying you need the receipt didn't even seem phased by possible bedbugs. This was about a year ago.
This charity shop used to be good and was my go to for a long while. How come now when I go in I see almost everything in that shop over a tenner. Charity shops Are meant to be cheap for people that may not be able to afford new clothes or that are on budgets so why am I seeing T-shirts and jumpers that are second hand for £15+ I went in today and saw this coat, it had no branding on it or anything that would value it and the price was £30! How can you charge that much for second hand clothes! Your better off buying new at that point The rails are so packed full aswell that you need superhuman strength to even look at the clothes but no wonder because no person with a right mind would pay the extortionate prices that they charge in here Please sort it out mind, people kindly donate these clothes for free, the least you could do is not charge mortgage prices for them.
Lovely shop but honestly where do they get the prices from totally overcharging. Some things dearer in the charity shop than the original price. It's a charity shop after all.
Extremely overpriced! This s donated goods and the rails are rammed full. Lower the prices, shift some stock and declutter the window.
What a lovely place to do voluntary work.
