Always friendly & ready to help despite having a constant flow of customers. A great selection of paints, tools and other decorating materials & products. It reminds me of the shop in the Two Ronnies' 'four candles' sketch as the place hasn't changed fundamentally since I visited with my grandfather over 40 years ago ... thankfully the traditional values have also been retained. It would be nice to see them adopt some more modern customer facing options on social media ... they'd have a lot to offer!

This is a great paint shop, we are lucky to have them still in town! I buy all my paints here, they do an excellent mixing and matching service and get really good advice from the staff. There’s a great variety of products in the shop too. I would strongly recommend them.

I have been using Harrison and Hargreaves for over 20 years. They have been a wonderful resource for my business. They not only cater for the retail but continue to improve the trade side. Offering advice and a wide range of products and materials for all budgets. Friendly and knowledgeable staff make the visit warm and welcoming.

Great service, very helpful. But if you're an OAP, go on a Wednesday 10% off, I went on a Thursday no discount. Good selection of wallpaper.
