R Yates & Sons Ltd

Went in to Yates at 8.30 this morning, went to counter to ask for what I wanted, lady behind counter continued to eat and drink while talking to me, told me rudely I needed different department. I was then served by a lovely friendly guy. We buy a lot from Yates and they have always been extremely helpful and polite so I was very shocked at the grumpy assistant this morning. I will continue shopping there as they are first class but were let down badly today, perhaps she needs training on polite customer services.

We needed a washing machine, cooker and fridge/freezer at short notice. We found the staff in Yates knowledgeable and helpful. They listened to the constraints we had and came up with options. The cooker was tricky as we needed a larger than average gap at the back of the oven to accommodate a pipe protruding from the wall. The member of staff quickly identified suitable ovens, pulled them out and measured them. Nothing was too much trouble. We ordered all the white goods we needed. Delivery was free and there was a lot of flexibility with the date and the driver gave us a call 20 minutes before arrival. Our washing machine was installed for £25 and all the packaging was removed. It was an absolute joy to buy from Yates - refreshingly good, old fashioned, proper service tailored to our needs and efficient with none of the frustrations of buying online from a process driven large retailer. Thank you.

I telephoned Yates late yesterday to enquire about their fridge freezers the lady I spoke to was very very helpful. I went into Yates this morning and saw Stephen he very kindly showed me the ff and gave me some more information, from which I decided to which one to purchase. Stephen also telephoned my fitter to confirm when it could be fitted. Stephen then again very kindly organised delivery for the same afternoon! Stephen informed me John would be delivering it, just after 1pm 2 day the ff was delivered, John was so kind, careful and helpful (the ff was placed in the kitchen and all the packaging taken away). Thank you all so very much.

EXCELLENT SERVICE BOUGHT A BARBOUR BEAUFORT. NEXT DAY DELIVERED NOT MAKING TGE CUSTOMER WAIT AS DESCRIBED. WILL DEFO USE AGAIN. SERVICE IS FAST AND PRIVE IS CHEAPER THAN OTHERS.
