Easy parking while waiting and can park inside the field when it's your turn. Flat and well kept so dogs can really stretch their legs without stumbling on uneven grass and highly visible fencing so they don't run into it. One of the best fields we've been to.

I have used this field and its sister fields near Pickering a lot . They are good facilities and my dog enjoys using them . However , the bins that are supplied in the fields are not dog proof . The lids are easily flipped open by a dogs nose and unfortunately careless dog owners empty the contents of their cars into them and also half eaten food and wrappers which my dog has eaten . The last time this happened in this field he got some discarded wooden skewers and eat them whole . This was distressing as they could easily have got stuck or pierced his gut . I wrote to the field owners to inform them and suggested wheelie bins . Alas, they have not done anything about it and again today my dog has pulled out food and wrappers out the bins and eaten some food and wrappers which I now have to wait to see how this affects him due to him being on a restricted diet . He recently had to have an operation to remove an item he had swallowed which cost £6000 . Therefore , I can’t use these fields again unless the owner is willing to change the bins in the fields . If your dog is a scavenger then this could become an issue for you and your dog .

Visited whilst on holiday to give our dog a run off the lead. We booked the 2 acre field which was well kept and very secure, Indie had a good run around with plenty if sniffs whilst we walked around the perimeter. Easy to book online. If we are in that area again, i would certainly book a half hour slot. There is a picnic table to sit at and also a shelter.
