It's almost impossible to give these guys their fair due in a review. 11 out of 10, at least. Seriously, this place goes over and above, providing a real value added service at a very reasonable cost. They are true experts, and have no interest in artificially ramping up the bill. Their rates are remarkably fair, and they're as helpful as it is possible to be. They don't try to sell you stuff you don't need, and they don't mark-up parts. They know their business and treat their customers well, with courtesy and respect: even, if like me, you're even nearly not a car expert. If you own a Jag or Land-rover, there's nowhere better. I can't recommend them more highly. Do yourself a favour and go with this company if you can. Maybe you think I was paid, or shilling, to write this: no, I am just a very satisfied customer.

I took my Freelander 2 to Neil after trying (and struggling) to tackle some DIY repairs myself — including work on the Haldex system. Long story short, the team at this garage not only reversed the damage I’d caused but got the car running smoothly again. Neil and the crew are approachable, friendly, and clearly know their stuff. Highly recommended if you want honest, reliable service.

Neil found more work was needed than originally quoted for but still came in within budget. Neil explained clearly the work that needed to be done and didn't use any complicated jargon. He also fitted in the work promptly, even though he had a busy diary. I would definitely recommend Winfield Fearn and will use them myself in the future.
