Freshmart Darnall is an excellent place for quality groceries. The meat and chicken are always fresh and of the best quality. The guy in the butchery is very polite, helpful, and professional, providing great customer service. He takes care while serving and ensures good quality every time. Highly recommended for fresh meat and excellent service.

Extremely poor hygiene from all members of staff especially the butchers. Same gloves for everything- handling meat, non meat items, touching their hair, ear pods. Basic lack of respect, asked for meat to be chopped small but given large chunks might as well not bothered. Always double check sell by dates- found several items 6 months out of date today. Not shopping here again

Super expensive shop they are clever Indian people they put the rubbish items mainly none branded items in front of shop with offers which are rubbish cheaper from local supermarket ie Tesco etc when you walk in ! And every thing else is sky high please go and check ! All high sugar products unknown non branded foreign items at entrance of shop to get you excited cheap items !! 👀 please see pictures below .

Nothing fresh about it. No price tags on most items you only find out you’re being robbed when you get to the till. £4.85 for 1kg bag of broccoli which is normally around £1.50 everywhere else.

Good destination for Asian and ethnic grocery, vegetables, fish and meat at reasonable prices. Not very busy. Parking available. Have a lot of frozen choices when it comes to chapathi, parotta, flat bread, naan etc. East end, Heera and familiar brands at best buy prices.
