This used to be a much nicer walk until a new housing estate was built. Now the fields get even boggier when it rains. Wouldn’t want to live in any of the houses near the field when we have torrential rain, looks like a flood waiting to happen now. Popular with dog walkers and a quick way to get to Manor Top from Woodthorpe.

Mostly a cut through between blocks of houses, but a nicer way to travel than walking on the path. Leads to some nice trails deeper in the woodlands and when you're in the centre, you could almost forget how urban the local area is behind the trees. Peaceful (most of the time) and a nice place to visit if you want some nature but don't/can't travel too far.
