Atmosphere is pretty much everything in a pub, isn't it? The new landlady and her daughter gave me such a friendly welcome! Well I am her Dad! It's nice to see Ami smiling behind the bar and running around with confidence. The music is loud enough to hear and not drown out the chat. The beer selection is great and I even had my Sunday lunch. I met my family and we had a wonderful catch-up. Chatted with a few locals too. What a friendly place!
Great place, modern style, pool table in the back. There are little TV screens in booths for a more private time. Free parking is available round the back. Staff are very polite and friendly.
Beautiful pub lovely atmosphere quick and friendly highly recommended. Recommended to us by locals at the Kings pub will definitely be coming back.
Went for a meal this evening and I was really disappointed with the food and the price if I’m honest,, if the food had been nice the price would never be an issue. £12 for fish and chips (fries) £6.50 for a sticky toffee pudding with custard, that was barely warm. Unfortunately we won’t be back for food
The Griffin, now reopened, is a fantastic spot. The pub is spacious with a great atmosphere, offering a well-maintained pool table and friendly staff. The drinks selection is solid, and the food was surprisingly good, adding to the overall positive experience. A great place to enjoy a drink, a game, and a meal.
