The Red Lion is a traditional local community pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a wide selection of beers, lagers, and cider, including three hand pulled, cask conditioned real ales which were in excellent condition when we visited and quite a bit cheaper than a lot of other pubs. There is a pool table in the bar and TVs for watching Sport. Behind the pub there is a nice outside seating area. Highly recommended.

Very poor experience when driving past and deciding to pop in for a pint on our way elsewhere. Barman basically ignored us and instead made conversation with his mates who then failed to acknowledge that we had been waiting and the polite thing to do would have been to let us put our order in. We simply upped and left and popped to Goodmanham arms for a very welcome pint from attentive staff.
Great friendly meeting place very welcoming and Vibrant Atmosphere! Lots of people enjoying the live music dancing, socialising enjoying themselves xx
Great pub. Great beer. Atmosphere always happy. Possibly the best pub in Market Weighton right now. Not least because it serves a great pint of Black Sheep Bitter. Recently renovated maybe lost some of its traditional pub charm but at the same time it's rejuvenated the pub and livened it up.
