Great value for money take-away chinese food. Have ordered and collected a few times now and every time order has been correct, on-time and tasty. I'd happily recommend for an enjoyable and satisfying takeaway meal.
Very mixed reviews on here so I went in with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised! Photos are half portions as I was too hungry and didn’t take photos before! Would definitely order again! We got the crispy chicken and king prawn with broccoli, and chicken satay skewers. It was enough for dinner and a light lunch the following day. Even came with free prawn crackers
Got a takeaway from there the other week and maybe it is just me but the food had a very heavy taste of MSG the taste stayed in my mouth for a very long time, not very nice.
We've being using this Chinese takeaway for several years and we've never had one bad meal yet. The food is always tasty and quick polite service. We have tried other Chinese takeaway's and they're not a patch on the Golden Star. Can't fault it.
Very disappointing. One of the worse chinese we've ever had. Very bland, no flavour at all. Kung Po Chilli chicken tasted of nothing and the Chow Mein, well, same. The mini veg spring rolls had the most flavour. Such a waste of money as we ended up binning most of it. Will not be returning.
