Quite possibly the worst beef in black bean I have ever eaten bland watery and just damn bad also the chips where soggy on plus the salt and pepper chicken was ok. If you fancy a beef in black bean seriously don’t bother
Didn't used to be our preferred Chinese, but all that's changed, the foods better, fresher and consistent... now it's a weekly event.
First time visiting for over a year. Quiet on entry Sunday evening. Pleasant and helpful staff who were even happier to lighten my pocket weight of change. Ordered Special Chow Mein which was beautiful, really good pieces of mixed meats, very tasty and al dente noodles which is a must for me and Chow Mein. Portion size is more than generous easily feed two. Crispy shredded chicken with sweet chilli - again very tasty, normal portion size. Quality meat. Prices ok, about on par with others. Will definitely use again when in the area.
When I eventually received it, the food was nice. Unfortunately it took over an hour for them to make my order, approx 50 minutes of that was me waiting in the takeaway in person. I also observed a lot of confusion from the person serving. First he told me my order would be ready in a few minutes, half an hour later I checked and he told me he'd not received my order, then he said he had, and it would be 10 minutes. I also observed other customers having similar issues. Alas I would not return.
Ordered here for a while but it seems to be under new management. The usual lady was nice but now the food is below standard. No prawns in special fried rice, soggy chips and really fatty pork in a maim dish.
