No surprise that the majority of reviews regards this doctors are the same. It really is a shambles, unfit for purpose and does not serve the local community. It's an absolute battle getting an appointment despite the surgery being located in a lovely purpose built building and the waiting room being practically empty each and everytime I have the misfortune of going or whilst using the pharmacy. I have attempted without success on numerous occasions to book an appointment for my youngest son, despite the seriousness of his illness at time of enquiry I have never been offered an appointment the same week. A couple of months ago I was told he could have an appointment for an ear infection that was causing him pain and affecting his hearing in 23 days from the date of my enquiry. Today I again had to attempt to book an appointment for my eldest child and despite the waiting room being like a ghost town, completely empty there was still no room at the inn. I have lived in Market Weighton for about 12 years and as a result of this practice being so inadequate I remain a patient in Hull where I grew up as I recieve an appointment the same day or the next day at the latest. This place needs a real shake up as so much more could be made of the service it should but does not provide. It's commonplace that local residents are seeking a doctor out of area as waiting times are absolutely ridiculous. Poor !

Went for an ingrown toenail, got antibiotics fine but didn’t help with the actual ingrowth so I had to go back which they gave me a date a month away, went to that appointment and I was in and out in 30 seconds she made me take a picture of my toe and send it to her and leave, that was it A month for an appointment despite there never being anyone in there and then 20 seconds that that doctor has probably travelled to come into work for, I could’ve just gotten a referral after the first appointment but this whole ordeal has taken two months, it’s a good job I don’t have an active job The NHS complains they have no money yet this is how they’re using their resources, it was a total waste of the doctors time

Completely dysfunctional service cannot see or speak to a doctor. This practice is providing no service at all and is totally incompetent. I am in disbelief and appalled by the lack of service in patient healthcare this practice claims to provide there is no service at all. I await the automated reply!

One star is more than the practice deserves. Shambolic, embarrassing and a couple of lunchtime closures to train staff on telephone etiquette wouldn't go a miss! Honestly, I’m beyond frustrated with the way this surgery operates. There’s a complete lack of care, compassion, and basic decency. I don't call for a chat; I call the GP for medical assistance and each time, I’ve been met with either rudeness, indifference, or flat-out refusal to actually do anything useful. It feels like no one there actually wants to help – they just pass the buck or shut you down. What makes it worse is that this isn’t the first time. Due to the same level of neglect in the past; I was left with a lifelong issue and was dangerously close to developing sepsis. That experience alone should have been a wake-up call for them, but nothing has changed. The staff show no real concern for patient welfare. You’re treated like an inconvenience, not a person who’s unwell and just needs support. It’s genuinely upsetting how little empathy or urgency there is. This place has caused more harm than good, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who actually values their health.
