Parking bays are narrow. Chargers could be spread out a little more. There are four parking bays, two for the Instavolt chargers, two regular ones. They could make these four parking bays into three and add another charger, widening the bays would then provide sufficient room to accommodate all vehicles, large and small. Vans struggle to squeeze into the current parking spaces. Charging itself and app use are very intuitive and easy to use. Just wish there was more parking space.
Worked a treat. Used app only. Access a little tight and reversing is not easy with my car, long wheelbase. Adjacent to McDonald's but there was a longish queue and this is a fast charger. Visited Langlands and Edinburgh Woollen Mill. New trousers! Returned and left. Just what EV charging is supposed to be. Used up all my credit. Boo!
Instavolt are consistently fast, reliable and easily found, unlike others! This was no exception. Easy to use.
Only 2 chargers, both working. Parking layout is poor . If you have a long car you may block the first 'normal' parking space or they may block you. McDonald's right next to the chargers for a coffee. Overall good visit.
First time using InstaVolt. App would not connect at all. May have been user error but not an issue used direct pay on my card. However, very tight bay, bins too close. Unfortunate, but will not stop me using again. Would plan to use other bay next time
