By using air-to-water heat transfer instead of air-to-air, the MCSe6.7 removes the need for a conventional condenser from the refrigeration system, therefore losing the derating effect it has on overall performance and making it the most efficient portable air conditioning format available. In addition to this, by utilising the latest in green refrigerant technology, these powerful units can deliver almost 7kW of cooling with a greatly reduced global warming potential of up to 92.9% over traditional refrigerants (148 as opposed to 2088 for R410A). On top of the impressive environmental credentials, the MCSe6.7 doesn’t compromise on performance either; with 6.7kW of cooling at up to 1105m³ /hr and the ability to run 35m lines between the main unit and heat exchanger box. Full steel construction makes it ideal for any commercial application while a 5m umbilical line, digital thermostat control, condensate pump and variable fan speed all come included as standard, as do high and low pressure protection and a status panel that lets you see what’s happening at a glance. The units are supplied with 5m umbilical lines as standard which are able to withstand the wear and tear expected of a mobile unit. Utilising high grade R3 reinforced hydraulic hose that’s oil, abrasion, corrosion and weather resistant the lines also boast double layer braided textile reinforcement, ensuring they’re up to the task of regular site use. Further sheathed in lightweight abrasion resistant sleeving that keeps everything together, protects the power lead and helps maintain flexibility, the new-design umbilical lines prolong service life and greatly reduce the risk of kinks. Available in 5m, 10m and 30m lengths, all lines come complete with high quality brass quick couplings for easy installation.
