This axe set consists of a splitting axe and a hatchet. The two polished and painted splitting surfaces are made of C45 carbon steel and are both fitted with a rubber protective lip. The rubberised 3-component handle with ergonomic grip profile ensures a secure, stable and comfortable grip for optimum splitting. Both the splitting axe and the hatchet have a practical hanging hole at the end of their handles. The forged expanding wedges increase the impact force and prevent the axe from jamming prematurely in the wood. Particularly suitable for splitting small and medium diameter firewood.
