Physostegia virginiana 'Rosea'

Bright pink flower spikes bring bold vertical colour to the summer garden. Commonly known as the Obedient Plant, ?Rosea? forms strong upright stems lined with soft pink tubular flowers that open gradually from the base upwards, creating weeks of interest. The blooms are highly attractive to bees and butterflies, while the lance-shaped foliage forms lush clumps.  Physostegia virginiana 'Rosea' works beautifully in prairie-style planting, cottage garden schemes and wildlife borders, its architectural shape adding structure among mounding perennials.
