Live was the first live album that Status Quo released commercially. The original release in 1977 was compiled from 3 nights in Glasgow between the 27th and 29th October 1976 and recorded using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio.The audio was mixed and mastered from newlydiscovered multi track recordings one was in a box marked Peters and Lee by Andy Gamble at AVP Productions from the original master tapes and approved by Francis Rossi.Live is regarded as one of the classic Live albums from the seventies and one of Quos most memorable live sets. This one complete recording of one setlist from the same tour shows the band at their loud n furious peak, with all the original 1970s lineup in full effect.
