Domaine Bouzereau-Gruére Chassagne-Montrachet 2022

Domaine Bouzereau-Gruère is a family-run estate rooted in Meursault and Chassagne-Montrachet. The estate was founded by two old wine-growing families – the Bouzereau family of Meursault and the Gruère family of Chassagne-Montrachet. It is now led by the seventh generation of the Bouzereau family, with winemaker Marie-Anne Bouzereau at the helm. Chassagne-Montrachet 2022 is crafted from Chardonnay grown on the clay-limestone slopes of the Côte de Beaune, in one of Burgundy’s most prestigious white wine appellations. The vineyards benefit from excellent sun exposure and diverse soils, contributing to the wine’s elegance. Aged for one year on lees in oak barrels (25% new), it's round and complex, with notes of acacia and honeysuckle, with subtle hints of hazelnut and buttery toast, balanced by a mineral freshness. Try it with fish and white meats.
