The Misdemeanor Tour Live Rock

UFO originally formed in 1969, around singer Phil Mogg,bassist Pete Way and drummer Andy Parker. Reaching apeak with 1978s Strangers In The Night, after fiveclassic records featuring mercurial lead guitaristMichael Schenker, UFO carried on into the 1980s withPaul Chapman replacing Schenker. Although it seemedas if UFO had called it a day at the end of their 1983tour to support the Making Contact album, singer PhilMogg put together a new look band for 1985sMisdemeanor record. Eschewing the more guitardriven hard rock that made their name during theprevious decade, the latest album had a more keyboarddriven sound, typical of the 1980s. The new look UFOfeatured Paul Gray on bass, Jim Simpson on drums,Paul Raymond from the classic Strangers In The Nightera lineup of the band back in the fold after a stintwith The Michael Schenker Group handling rhythmguitar and keyboards, plus Atomik Tommy 039M039 on leadguitar.
