Bockingford® is a beautiful English watercolour paper, traditionally made on a cylinder mould machine at St Cuthberts Mill. It is a high quality paper made using pure materials to archival standards and is made of 100% woodfree bleached chemical pulp.The surface of the paper is created using natural woollen felts that give it a distinctive random texture and it is appreciated for its excellent colour lifting abilities and being an extremely forgiving watercolour paper valued by professionals and amateur artists worldwide. Being acid free this paper will not discolour, and due to it being made on a cylinder mould machine the surface has superior stability. The paper weight is 300gsm (140lb) and has no optical brightening agents. In addition to watercolour paint, this paper will also work with gouache, acrylics, pastels and pencils. This paper is A1 size and available in 2 surfaces – Cold Pressed (NOT), Rough and Hot Pressed
