FolkArt Colour Shift Metallic Paint is water-based meaning that it's completely non-toxic, the paint can be applied to most paintable craft surfaces such as wood, terra cotta, stretched canvas, rigid plastic, papier mache, metal, bisque ware or unglazed ceramics, glass and ceramics. However the colour shifting properties of the paint appear best when painted onto a smooth, 3-dimensional surface that will reflect light.Color Shift can be used on interior and outdoor projects. The nature of the acrylic polymers use to make FolkArt Color Shift is weather resistant and when cured to the surface it is selfsealing making it unnecessary to seal or topcoat when properly cured for 48 hours it is water and fade resistant under normal conditions.To use on glassware: 1. Allow painted item to dry for 24 hours to be sure all layers of paint have dried2. Place project in a cool oven, as the glass must heat gradually with the oven toavoid breakage; do not place glass in a hot oven3. Set oven temperature to 350ºF4. Once temperature has reached 350ºF, allow the project to bake for 30 minutes5. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off and let glass cool down completely beforeremoving from the oven6. Do not use for 72 hours7. Once cured wash by hand or in the top shelf of a dishwasher (do not soak in water)
