Golden : Acrylic Gesso

Gesso can be thought of as a bridge between your support and the paint. Golden Gesso is designed to penetrate supports and provide a surface to which paint can adhere itself perfectly. Proper preparation with gesso increases the life span of any artwork and is the first step in protecting your artwork. This white gesso has a ready-to-use formulation and is flexible, highly pigmented for greater opacity, and perfect for painting on most surfaces. It is recommended for at least three layers of gesso for oil paintings.
