All Matisse Colours Have Been Specifically Formulated To Ensure That They Will Not Fade Or Degrade Over Time Under Normal Conditions. Each Colour Has Had Many Years Of Testing And Has Been Formulated To Enable The Optimum Pigment Load With A Reliable Consistency. Applied Undiluted By Brush Or Knife, It Gives A Rich And Deep Impasto Finish. The Colours May Be Thinned With Water For Washes And Striking Watercolour Effects. Matisse Structure Formula Is Completely Compatible With Matisse Mediums. Mixing With Matisse Mediums Can Alter The Paint’s Characteristics And Add Or Subtract Body And Texture, Gloss And Sheen, And Extend Or Decrease Working Time.
