Product Description

Cyanotype is the 'Original' sun-printing process, one of the earliest photographic techniques, distinctive for producing rich, Prussian blue monochromatic prints. This process was incredibly popular well into the 20th century as an inexpensive method for reproducing documents, maps and even plans - which is where the term blue print has come from! Either use a digitately-printed photographic negative, or any object that casts a shadow over top of your treated surface, expose to the sunlight and see your incredibly detailed print come to life on paper or fabric. This is Part A of the mixture needed to be made in the Cyanotype process. Part A: Potassium Ferricyanide is a red iron salt used with Ferric Ammonium Citrate for cyanotype.
