Schmincke : Pouring Medium (Silicone)

The Schmincke Pouring Medium S(ilicone) is a fluid acrylic-medium that contains silicone oil, that creates cell like effects. Achieving a cell effect is incredibly popular with paint pouring, but requires adding another medium to your work. With this medium, you wont need to add anything to the mixture, and wont even have to worry about cracking that often occurs when adding silicone to a paint pour. Silicone is also the best type of lubricant for acrylic pouring as it makes the paint predictable, neutral, and incredibly durable, whilst not impacting any colour. This paint medium can work with any ratio, allowing you to control the speed of flow and allow you to experiment with your work to achieve your desired effects. This medium dries down to a gloss finish, with a clear, non-yellowing, tack-free and waterproof surface.
