Liquitex's Black Gesso Contains A Blend Of Pigments To Give A Matt Black, Opaque Base. The Surface Adds A High Level Of Tooth For Maximum Colour Adhesion And Stability. The Gesso Stiffens Your Canvases And Creates The Optimum Absorbency For Paint Application, Providing A Professional Standard, Archival Base To Help Maintain The Longevity Of Your Work. It Is Also A Suitable Surface For Preliminary Charcoal Or Pencil Drawings. Suitable For Use With Acrylic And Oil Paints/mediums, Graphite, Pencil And Charcoal, And Chalk And Oil Pastels. You Can Use Liquitex Black Gesso On Canvas, Hardboard And Paper, Plus Wood And Non-oily, Porous Supports.
