Vilene Vlieseline Extra Strong Bondaweb

Extra strong Bondaweb by Vilene is a double sided adhesive product designed specifically for fast and perfect appliques on quilts, clothing and other fabric items where additional strength is required. Bondaweb is ideal for use with quilting fabrics and works with the vast majority of fabrics. To use, simply draw the motif on the smooth (paper side) of the Bondaweb. Cut out roughly. Place the rough side onto the wrong side of the motif fabric. Press for 5 seconds without steam to attach the Bondaweb to the motif fabric. Cut the motif out precisely following your lines. Remove the Bondaweb backing paper (this now leaves the adhesive on the motif shape you wish to attach to your finished piece). With the coated side down place in position. Place a damp cloth on top of the motif and lightly iron for about 10 seconds. Iron setting: Wool Cotton. Zigzag stitch edges to finish. Allow the pieces to cool flat for about 20 minutes, so the adhesive can set completely. Bondaweb can be washed in temperatures up to 60C.
