Hessian Fabric, often referred to as Jute or Burlap is a rough, coarse, loosely woven fabric often used as an eco friendly material for bags, rug making and other products. It is traditionally used to make bags and sacks for transporting goods as hessian fabric is very strong. In more recent years hessian has been used often as a decorative material for craft projects because of its raw, rustic, natural appeal.
